Farmers Agitation in Maharashtra, Cause Effect analysis

Everyone has become M. S. Swaminathan or alike after Farmers agitation. The fact is these people's don't know Abcd of agriculture,.....
I am not here to question on agitating farmers within India or specifically in Maharashtra, but there is need to present clear picture of agriculture in India at present...
The Indian agriculture having....1)main issue of indulging in traditional practices,
2) lack of adoption of innovative practices and crops.
3) the land holding of the farmers is below economic level which is not enough for subsistence of family.
4) allied enterprises and other options of earning money has not being explored, like making processed food products, Pickles, ghee.
5) lack of use of technology for marketing of produce.
6) Farmers in India follows herd mentality, if in a year the value of produce increases, in very next year all farmers will grow same crop, there will be downfall of prices in very next year/ or next harvesting season.. It happens with onion every year....
7) At government level...
a) Agriculture department is most corrupt dept in India
b) It do not provide any kind of help to the farmers.
c) Krishi Vigyaan Kendra is place of playing cards.
d) The government of Maharashtra do not emphasizes on irrigation for multiple cropping in a year (Read Recommendations of Barwe commission of 1962)
e) rampant corruption in agriculture ministry... The investigation is continued, but we know nothing will happen as Mantralay was burn down before the elections.....
Way forward.....
1) Farmers has to change mindset, and adopt innovations.
2) Diversification of crops to reduce risk
3) processing of produce to have more profit.
4) cooperative farming to decrease cost of production.
5) Cooperative marketing also
6) Allied enterprises to have sizable income in off season for continuation of economic activities.
7) The government has...
a) to free market from the clutches of corrupt APMC System, as this system affect farmers like anything.
b) watchdog on agriculture department.
c) Direct Benefit transfer, removal of intermediaries...
d) Create support system for suggesting proper cropping pattern to be adopted in a particular season.
e) Do not make unnecessary agreements with foreign governments without understanding the future production in India. Ex. Unnecessary Arhar import pact with Mozambique without thinking of future production.
f) The government has to make more investment in processing industry.
g) Help farmers to grow export quality products with the help of APEDA.
Such kind of agitation won't help in longer run for farmers as well,
"Us vs Them" approach is illogical idiotic irrational according to me.
creating problems to Urban population and government should not be the motto of any agitation...
We as a society has to find solutions to such issues amicably...
The problem lies in age-old obsolete practices we followed...
The obsolete useless institutions and administrative structure that his been functioning in the country has to be dismantled for progress in agriculture.
